Some thoughts about Windows Phone 7

Microsoft has launched this week in Las Vegas, MIX 10, at a major conference of developers, the tool to implement applications for the future Windows Mobile 7 due by the end of this year. After the presentation last week, the outlines of the future are the least interesting, especially in games. Can somebody share views about the new Windows Phone 7?

Windows Mobile 7 will be more intuitive and user-friendly than previous versions, it is a certainty. Must also say, the guys at Microsoft really could not do worse. Note also that they have decided to mark the break as Windows Mobile 7 will be called Windows phone. Very clearly, this new version of their operating system plays the card of the originality. Very simple, the general interface of the product is also particularly well. There are buttons impressive, highly visible and perfectly suited to the finger or stylus . It may well add to the home screen with large buttons, the content will be displayed (and modified) in real time. It must be confessed, these blocks have the advantage of being very original, we feel that the firm has sought originality rather than ease. Anyway, we can move them as we see fit and reorganize our windows as it sees fit.

Today, mobile phones are no longer just call, they can also watch videos, listen to music and even take his photo library with you everywhere. And that also Microsoft has understood. Positive, if the application dedicated to photos centralize the user's personal library, it can also display the latest content published on social networks he frequents. Hopefully we can also integrate their library Flickr or Picasa the same time. For movies and music, it's even easier since it is the Zune application has been accepted. If you're already familiar with this device, you're likely to feel at home.

We expected a bit but Windows Mobile 7 will integrate well on Xbox Live. It will be possible to see the profile of the players, talk with them and probably play network. Regarding this last point, it was not verified so take it with tweezers. Note that the interface is very close to the traditional Xbox Live. Moreover, we note that it is finally the case of the whole system, which draws heavily from the latter, certainly, but also the interface of the Zune. Of course, this list is not exhaustive. Windows Mobile 7 will allow the user to do much more, as its managing Office documents or even access the Marketplace to find and install a ton of new applications.

It would also be the flagship of the new version of Mobile from Microsoft. Steve Balmer confirms that an announcement will actually be made at the MWC 2010. According to the marketing director of the telephony section of Microsoft, Greg Sullivan, it will be Windows Mobile 7. Itl take to test the beast to get an idea but the fact is that, on paper at least, this Windows Mobile 7 has sacred strengths in his game should also be noted that the MWC will at least proved one thing, namely that the market for mobile OS sembleavoir matured. Indeed, manufacturers are no longer content to provide interfaces similar to the iPhone, we feel that they seem determined to play the card of the originality and find their own style.

Already present on many smartphones, Microsoft hopes to strike a blow with pones 7 with the arrival of its next system operating mobile, Windows Mobile 7. If the thing we interest is that this new OS will mark the arrival of Xbox Live on Windows phone. Furthermore the usual services, they are already no less than fifty games that are already planned for the launch of Live on the media. In the lot, everything well Guitar Hero, Assassin's Creed, Crackdown or Earthworm Jim. Obviously, it is the touch screen phones and often equipped with an accelerometer that are primarily targeted at the image of HTC HD2 classy example, the idea being to go to the competition to Apple and its iPhone, but also mobile in Android.

Xbox Live will also make its appearance on PC and Windows Mobile is LIVE and experience will be fully synchronized on all platforms, with customizable avatars according to the platform used. A bit like the E3 2010 show Microsoft has been heavily focused on KINECTS with games: Kinectimal, KINECTS Adventures, Dance Central, Your Shape, Free Riders and Sonic.
