Is it possible to clone my iMac's drive to the Air's drive using SuperDuper

    Hi,
I have a MacBook Air and an iMac. I use both of this at home. To my air i have only connected USB2. Now i am planning to clone my iMac drive to the Air drive using SuperDuper software. Can i do this try? I am just having a wired network at home. Does any one have any suggestion on this topic? Please suggest me some solution. I will be waiting for your reply. Thanks.

Two mac machine can be partner together is they have optical disc drive

I think that you can do this. You will be only able to partner your MacBook Air with another Mac, if it has an optical disc drive and both of them are in the same wired network.
--You can move information to your MacBook Air from the other Mac machine.
--You can even Share the contents of DVDs.
I fell that i have provided you some help. Hope it helps to you.

Power adapter can solve this problem.

I think you can do this using power adapter. Try to do the following things.
1 First make sure that your power adapter is connected and plugged in with the MacBook Air.
2 After that make sure the other Mac is turned on
3 Also make sure that it is in the same wired or wireless network as your MacBook Air.
4 Now you need to make a check of the AirPort status icon in the menu bar at the top of the other Mac screen to see which network are you using to connect?
5 Choose it and you are done.
I hope that your problem will be solved after doing this.

Try using enabling DVD or CD Sharing

You can do this by enabling DVD or CD Sharing. You try out the following steps-
    1. First make sure that MacBook Air and the Windows computer are in the same network whether it is wired or wireless.
    2. Open the DVD or CD Sharing control panel on the Windows computer.
    3. After doing that choose Enable Remote DVD or CD option.
    4. Now you are done with that.

Try these things and see the output. If you require more support on this topic, then you reply me back.

Enabling DVD or CD Sharing solved the problem

Thanks for the help provided by all. I have tried to implement all the solution which is provided above. I am able to solve my problem after trying the solution given by Sam.D and ZeDaX, but the solution provided by ThoMas321 is not helping me out. So i have now made the necessary connection and i want to thank again to all for providing such a nice reply. Even the people who are looking to do the same connection with their mac machine can go for the above solution.
