Outlook Calendar sync problem with iOS4

I have recently updated my iPhone to the 3GS from the 3.1.3 to 4.0.2 outlook 2007 calender, but the major problem with that is there is no sync with the iphone of the outlook calendar. The entries created on the phone does not transfer to the laptop and from laptop to the phone, this is very frequent issue and please provide the solution to overcome the problem any suggestion on the topic will be appreciated.
