Canon EOS 20D camera not able to work under Windows 7

I have Canon EOS 20D camera and the problem is with the device to work under Windows 7. I am not able to work with the device with my desktop as needed. I do not know what could have been the issue. Please help me out so that I can work with the device and process as needed.
