iPhone 4 screen flicker when waking from sleep

The iphone model which i am using is of the iphone 4,from last few days my phone is undergoing some screen problem, the actual problem behind it is that when my phone gets back from the sleep mode there are some flickers appearing on the screen, i am not knowing the actual reason behind it so please any one guide me to solve this problem.
