    Ferrari One XGP System

Questions for all the members.!! I am browsing grad stumbled on the Acer Ferrari F200 One. Which belongs to the new AMD processor generation. Although for me now is not necessarily the CPU interesting, but according to some previews on other sites is to have the device over a XGP. If you happen to know this port revived with the new processor platform technique is? would be nice if you could help me there. Any other notes regarding the topic will also be helpful.

We've seen pair passports of netbooks that we'd in reality consider being meekly rapid, but given that locating on Ion-based netbook is about as effortless as entering North Korea with a U.S., we have not had much of a chance to really love on them. Today, Acer is extending its boutique Ferrari lineup with the One, to 11.6-inch machine that is in the midst of the first to rely on AMD's recently announced platform Congo. Packed within the chassis is a dual-core 1.2GHz Athlon X2 L310 CPU, ATI's Radeon 3200 graphics, to XPG port for connecting to external graphics solution, a 1,366 x 768 panel, WiFi, Bluetooth, discretionary WWAN and a 6-cell battery. You'll also perceive AMD Vision and Windows 7 badges alongside the mandatory strutting pony.

The Acer Aspire One netbook may already have a dual-core chip and ATI graphics processor, but that may not be enough for some. To boost the video capabilities of this unit and add a few ports along the way, Acer has introduced an option to add-on, the DynaVivid Graphics Dock.

Using the proprietary ATI XGP interface (which is only available on the Aspire One), the dock comes with a DynaVivid discrete ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 video chip onboard. This graphics card is capable of pushing 2,048 x 1,536 pixels on an external display via its onboard HDMI and VGA ports. This therefore includes six USB 2.0 peripheral slots for external devices.

However, do not entertain thoughts of using this unit on the road, as it requires an external power adapter. Though it weighs a mere 0.65kg, 193.5 x 193.5 x the huge 32.8mm footprint is certainly not pocket-friendly. The Acer DynaVivid Graphics Dock will be available in November for around U.S. $ 199

ATI's XGP technology (eXternal Graphics Platform) is an external graphics explanation for notebook PCs. ATI XGP is premeditated to distribute enthusiast-class graphics performance, accurate multimedia upgradeability and numerous connectivity options, revolutionizing GPU performance on a notebook PC equipped with an external PCI Express 2.0 connector. This video is of a autonomous system that they had setup at CES 2010 showing off Radeon 5830 graphics.

The peripheral Acer sells it directly, calling Acer DynaVivid Graphics Dock. Its design reminds me of the Acer Aspire Revo , with very similar dimensions and weight is around 0.65 kg. With this external graphics, the Acer Ferrari One allows resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 pixels through the HDMI port on the computer itself. Be taken into account that requires external power, which will lose some of the portability of the computer. The Acer DynaVivid Graphics Dock will go on sale in November for about $ 200 and is compatible only with the few teams that have a connection integrated ATi XGP. Engadget around for we have seen some external graphics cards such as ATI XGP or Asus ROG XG. Actually there are a few models, though none of them achieved a great success. However, the latest Acer Ferrari One that was introduced a couple of weeks, has the ATi XGP connection port. Through it you can connect an external graphics equivalent to ATi 4670, which will provide power but maybe not too interesting enough for a 11.6-inch computer.
