The solution to your problem is that you have to reboot the blackberry phone because due to some application hanging in between creates a number of issues. To reboot first remove the battery from the phone and clean the base with the cotton cloth and then place the battery and restart the phone and wait for 5 minutes to completely restart the phone.

If your touch screen of the phone is not responding properly then thee is a problem in the lcd screen of the phone. The screen might be damage due to jerks and if these is the case then you have to replace the screen of the blackberry phone with a new one, you can also check all the settings of the phone to make sure that the touch screen features are enabled.

Many a time there is an issue with the application and the software that are installed on the blackberry phone which make the screen to behave in a different manner as in your case. So to resolve these you have to format the phone in a proper way for that first you have to go in the Options and then in the Security Option. In that select the General settings option and then click the wheel and then click Wipe HandHeld, with these it will erase all the data and the phone will become new one, these is the ultimate solution to your problem.

If your problem is not fix with the above solutions then the option available to you is go for the replacement of the phone as the screen is not working properly if your blackberry Storm is not in the warranty period. If it is not in the warranty period then you can go to the service center to get the trouble fix by them, for further help and support you can contact the customer care assistance of the blackberry.
