Need help to replace laptop screen

I need some tips to fix out a broken laptop or even the notebook display. I have some models which needs a repair and mainly the screens are damaged. How is what I can do it myself or do I have to necessarily go to a specialty store and buy the stuffs for that. Does this needs some kind of special tools to fix the same. I am not able to find appropriate solution for that.

Being myself a technician, I had already change the screens of laptops. This is actually not too hard and easy to replace the same also. First you will need to find a screen of the same brand and same laptop to avoid problems with connections. So the best option for you is to make a rounds of computer shops who keep notebooks for spare parts, and getting the right screen, and then take try to replace as per the manual.

To begin, turn off your laptop. Then do not forget to disconnect your battery, power cord and cables, and miscellaneous devices. After that open your laptop. After that use a small flat screwdriver to remove the six screws plastic lids. After that you can use a screwdriver to remove the six screws on the front panel LCD. Remove the bezel of the LCD and put it on the side. Remove the screws from the LCD, there are usually three on each side of the frame. Pull the casing of the laptop LCD. There is small connector insider for the monitor remove and add a new one.

It is not possible that if the LCD does not turn on then it damaged. The fault can be with the power or connection inside. Unplug the ribbon connector LCD both the motherboard and LCD screen, and then unplug the cable converter. Carefully remove the LCD broken computer and put it carefully on the side. Install the new LCD screen by repeating steps one and two in reverse order.

Connect the laptop to an external display via VGA. This will help out to ensure that your laptop is functioning well. Then look for the manufacturers manual and read the model of that screen. Search for the proper replacement. I just fix it myself the backlight of my laptop Toshiba 5100-503. At first I thought it was the LCD inverter is the power of neon underneath the thickness of the screen and lights with a reflector.

First ensure that your laptop is under warranty or not. If yes then you can easily get a replacement for the same. I broke my laptop slab hp pavilion. I found a slab on the Internet. But now big problem, I do not know how to disassemble the screen to insert the new panel. The procedure is a bit difficult there but if you have a bit technical knowledge with proper tools then you can simply fix that.

When you open up the full laptop there LCD is connected to the motherboard with a ribbon cable. That is very sensitive and open the same only if you are enough aware about the computers. The space inside a laptop is very conjusted and it is quiet not easy to fix all removed parts together. Check first by turning on and off properly that there is a display on the screen.
