    How to reset a kodak camera

    I have a kodakCamera Dimage, when I turn it into position making camera the screen stays black. The shutter is released when you take a picture, I can read the pictures that are stored on the card. Is there a way to reset to reset the device. Please help. Thanks in advance.

    he Reset function the camera allows to restore factory default for most settings shooting , every time the camera is turned off.
    1. Set the dial to mode Setup .
    2. menu Reset camera Then press the Select button ( selection).
    3. Highlight the setting reset desired .
    Yes - most settings shooting are restored to their factory default whenever the camera is turned off.
    No ( default ) - custom settings are retained when the camera is turned off.
    4. Press the Select button ( selection).
    This setting remains until you change it.

    Use the About to find the name, model and firmware ( internal software ) of the camera. This information is particularly useful if you need to call customer service .
    1. Set the dial to mode Setup .
    2. Highlight the About menu Then press the Select button ( selection).
    The information displayed is read -only.
    3. Press the Select button ( selection).
    View Upgrading software and firmware to how update the camera with the latest firmware.
