How to disable LG VX8700 EVDO?

I am running with the LG VX8700 and wanted to make the EVDO off on the same but not finding any ways to perform the same. On the older version of the LG phone i can perform the same easily but in this phone i am not finding any way to perform the same. If you can then please let me know about the same. To disable the EVDO on your LG phone you have to follow the instruction given below which will help you for turning off the EVDO. I hope this will work with your.

• Start the Phone
• Dial ##77647268700
• Press call button
• Dial '000000' on Service Code screen
• Go to Programing Menu
• Select "Network Select"
• Select "Mode Preference"
• Select "1X only"
• Press OK
• Press End

First of all thanks for the help given me regarding the issue of mine. I have gone through the same and let me tell you that it is working with the issue of mine. I have performed everything as stated and let me tell you that it worked for me. Any one else having the same problem can go through the same and resolve the issue. I am having one more issue as i am not getting the driver for my device. I hope to get the solution for same.

Follow the instruction given below for deactivating the EVDO:

• Take your phone. Flip it open.
• Dial ##77647268700 and hit "SEND"
• When the 'Service Code' screen appears, dial: 000000
• In the programming menu, select "3. Network Select"
• Select "1. Mode Preference"
• Select the option "1X only"
• Press OK
• Press END to leave the menu and return to the main screen.
