Automatic display rotation with ProtectSmart Accelerometer

I am having a program that access that protectsmart 3D accelerometer data and rotates your Hp tm2 can automatically rotate based upon how you are holding. To run this application you need HP protectsmart drivers. There are two different version install depending on you windows(x86 or x64):

    x64 Installer:
    http://compugeeksoftware.com/softwar...x64).exe<br />
    x86 Installer:
    http://compugeeksoftware.com/softwar...er%20(x86).exe
I suggest only the people with Hp tm2 to try it.

Re: Automatic display rotation with ProtectSmart Accelerometer

After reading your thread it seem to be amazing to me. I download your application and installed it in my system. But on reboot it display the error message saying "System.IO.FileNotFoundException" and "tm2 Accelerometer has stopped working". What is the problem is your app is not finding accelerometerdll.DLL file. I am too excited to use your application and see whether it is working or not. Provide the solution to solve the above error.

Thanks for your comment. As per your problem, Check whether you have installed the right version of windows. To check it perform following. Go to Start menu right click on my computer or Right click on My Computer icon. And see whether you are having windows x86 or x64. On the basis of your Windows version install the same version of my application. Hope this will solve your issue.

Hi this is the link for the updated x64 version:
    http://compugeeksoftware.com/softwar...ometer/fix.zip
    And follow the below instruction:
Open task manager and select processes tab. Find tm2_accelerometer.exe and click end process. After doing this just goto:C:\Program Files\CompuGeek Software\tm2 accelerometer\ in explorer and replace the current file with the zip file you have downloaded.
This new version solves the rotational issue.

Re: Automatic display rotation with ProtectSmart Accelerometer

In my system some what not working properly, it only rotate in one direction. I have driver, .net and Visual C++ installed. The application is not showing any error and it is installed successfully. I am using windows x64 and installed x64 version. I think it needs a little be calibration tool. The accelerometer.exe is visible for a second and then it disappears. Rotate in same direction regardless of in which direction i hold it.
