    Sony Handycam HDR-CX150 audio compression

    I have found camcorder which i would like to buy only if the bitrate of the same is what i have expected. I want to know an exact bitrate of the Sony Handycam HDR-CX150, so can anybody tell me that does it gives 128 kbps, 192 kbps, 256kbps, 448kbps, 512kbps or 640kbps? Because i am very much serious about the quality of my videos as if it too low then it would be decreasing quality of video, And if there is no high bitrate supported by handycam then increasing the quality would be just a waste of memory.

    The bitrate is the disk space (expressed in kilo bits) needed to encode one second of video or sound. (Abbreviated kbps). The app is calculated by measuring the average bitrate. This value will change by + or - depending on the complexity of the image to encode. This work is done by the codec during the first pass.
    The video bitrate depends on three factors:
    • The duration of the film.
    • The desired size of the file .
    • The audio bitrate.

    Sony gives advanced technology in its HD models, even with an entry level. Now all 2010 HD Handycam models has the “Exmor R” CMOS sensor with a fresh algorithm to grasp 2x faster "Quick AF,” Face precedence to set a particular face for exposure, color, and focus by using the Smile Shutter technology, and Highlight Playback for quick video slideshow generation. The latest HD handy camcorders listings presents an iAuto along with the 60p output, and latest interface, Additionally capturing a full1920 x 1080 HD video recording at up to 24Mbps, the highest bit-rate offered by the AVCHD format.

    Here is a formula by which you can calculate the bitrate on which the video has been recorder. You just need three parameters for calculating the same.
    br = bitrate, d = movie length in seconds, t = size of the file obtained.
    • To calculate t from a br wanted:

    t = (br d x ¹ x 1000) ÷ (1024 x 1024 x 8 ²)
    ¹ - 1000 for kilobit
    ² - 2 x 1024 to spend bytes MB
    • To calculate the dc with respect to t:

    br = (t x 1024 x 1024 x 8) ÷ (d x 1000)
    To calculate the weight of the soundtrack
    It's the same formula as for the video bitrate is equal to 64, 96, 112, 128, etc..
