Samsung GT-S3100 white screen

When I turn on the S3100 I've a white screen. I can hear the startup tune, but that's all. After putting in the pswrd and trying to call my cell phone I hear the answering voice. Then today suddenly I heard the tune of incoming messages, but of course I cann't see anything. Does anyone knows this problem? Thanks.

Most probably this white screen or blank screen appears when the mobile gets fall down, or get wet in rain or water anywhere. Due to all these instances, the display gets damaged from the system and hence it looks blank. Now, what you can do is take to the Samsung service center and get it repaired. If it is in warranty than good or you will need to play little amount. Its not much expensive.
