Need to upgrade my HP NX7400

I have a HP NX7400 laptop and it is been installed with Windows 7. The thing I want to know is that can I upgrade my system to Core 2 Duo processor from Core Duo T2300 1.66 GHz processor. I use this one and want to upgrade it to Core 2 duo. Is it possible to be done. Please help me out so that I can get to a proper conclusion.
