Audio problem with Lenovo SL500 device

I have a Lenovo SL500 laptop and it is been installed Windows Vista. The problem is that I have installed k-lite mega codec player and tried to execute the music files and it plays but with no sound. I just have no idea why is this happening? What could be the problem that is not allowing to make the application to work as needed. It will be helpful if you can make the thing to sort.

The problem that you are facing may be with the player that is causing the issue. It could be that the audio player is not proper or may ave some issue. Check out the file to be executed using another application or media player. You may then be able to get execute the thing to work. It would be better. There is a possibility that the device is or the driver installed may not be compatible with the system and this is the reason you are not able to work well as required. So it would be better that you get the driver and then right click on the driver and then under the properties section choose compatibility mode for Windows Xp. This will surely help you out.

Get the associated driver for the sound card that you use to the system. It will then help you out well for sorting the thing and make the implementation as needed.
