ActiveSynch can't find restore file

I am having an issue that need to solve urgently. Whenever you i am restoring my backup to the phone from the computer with the ActiveSynch at that time i am not able to make the same. I have browsed backup.stg file and tried to restore from there but failed. So please help me with the problem that i am getting. Thanks in advance.

I am not sure about the same but if you change the ID of the device then you will be able to get the ActiveSynch working. Just follow the below given step to work with the issue.

• Click on Start
• Click on Settings
• Click on System
• Click on About applet
• Click on Device ID.
• Change the ID
• Reboot the System.

I have tried the same but let me tell you that after performing all the changes i have got no success and still getting the same problem. So please advise me some more things to work with it.

In that case i think in that case your back up file is having support for the Older ActiveSynch and you are using the latest ActiveSych which is unable to open the backup file as is is not supported by the same. So in that case you have to run the backup file on the ActiveSynch which supports the backup file.

I have no idea about why you are not unable to restore file but i am having one tools that might work with the issue of yours. The one which i am talking about is known as ActiveSync Backup File Restorer 0.2 that performs all the functionality for the ActiveSynch. So if you like it then give a try to this tools.
