    iPhone 3g aspect ratios

I have been using the iphone 3g. I use the DVDFab application in order to convert my movies so that i can view then on my iphone 3g. Now i want know which of the aspect ratio will give me a better quality of the movie either the 4:3 or the 16:9. Any help in this matter would be appreciated very highly.

As far as i know the highest resolution which is available for each aspect ratio will provide the best quality video. Whereas the iPhone 3g is currently limited when you decode 645 X 485 . while when you play the same on an iphone then the screen can show around 480 X 320. So i would suggest you to use the 640x362 for the aspect ratio of about 16:9. whereas 640x480 for 4:3 .

The areas chosen for a video will often depend on how it is distributed. Videos that are intended to play on the Internet are generally smaller size as the 320 x 240 pixels. On the other hand, videos are intended to play on the desktop are higher as a dimension 640 x 480 pixels. High-definition television (HDTV), the videos have a higher dimension even as high as 1920x 1080 pixels

The aspect ratio is the ratio of width to height.
    • 4:3 (or 1.33:1), the image is slightly rectangular (television).
    • 16:9 (or 1.78:1), the image is almost 2x longer than high (Widescreen - HDTV).
    • The film uses him, reports of about 1.85:1 and 2.35:1 (Cinemascope).

In Video Edit Magic, when you create a DVD video for the video, i would suggest you to use the 720 x 480 pixels as the film size. The videos and images that you add to the time line is not necessarily the same size or aspect ratio that the final movie. To adapt these video clips in the dimensions specified for the final film, Video Edit Magic resizes the video.

Normally if you do multi-format DVD for your work would Be best to invest in a multi-tool as Senarist VTS. You Can Still Do so largely in DVD-Lab. The trick is to use the 16:9 in the window "Movies" and to treat other films such as animated menus 4:3. The Trick Is To use the 16:9 in the Window "Movies" to Treaties and Other Film animated menus 4:3. You simply drag the video and audio of the film in 4:3 in an empty menu.
