Problem with LN37B550 LCD TV

The sound output and picture on the Samsung LN37B550 LCD TV flashes intermittently. Some times the channel disappears from the screen and automatically comes after some time. I am not able to resolve this problem by myself as i am not a technical guy. So i am here to get the solution of this issue. Hope that you people will not disappoint me.

I was also having the same kind of the issue related to the image and sound with the Samsung LN37B550 LCD television. I was using the cable box. But at the end of the day the issue was with the cable box and not with the television. The issue got resolved after changing the cable box. So thanks a lot guys for providing the solution.
