Cinema display 30" flickering in Mac laptops

Hello friends,
I am new to this forum, so please ignore my mistakes, if any. I am having Mac and i am facing issues while watching the videos. Sometimes the attached 30" display flickers and displays weird patterns. I have tried many things but nothing seems to be working for me.!!
