Windows 7 & iPhone 3GS

I am new to this forum. My friend had told me that he solved many issues so I thought that posting here my doubt would be helpful. Also I want to know that Windows 7 & iPhone 3GS are not compatible..?? When I am trying to synchronize the data, I am getting an error "0xE8000065". Please help me to sort out this issue.!!
