How to disable the trackpad button function?

I am having a query which is related to the Trackpad of my Macbook Pro. Due to some reason it stop responding properly. The functioning of the same gone worse so i wanted to disable but don't know about the How to disable the trackpad button function? . So if any one knows about the same then let me know also. Thank you.

Have you checked the trackpad setting? It can be possible that your Trackpad preference is not set properly that is why you are getting the same issue. Buy any way we are talking about the disabling of trackpad.So to disable the trackpad you have to get into the System preference and then to check the option of disabling trackpad in the Universal Access. Thats it!!!

There is one thing that will work with your issue. I am having the same issue and i have tried the same and the issue got resolve. So go through the below given step that will guide you for the same.

• Open System Preferences
• Open Universal Access
• Click on Mouse & Trackpad tab
• Check the "Ignore trackpad when mouse is present"
• And you are done.

I have tried the same and the issue got resolved but i just wanted to disable then button only not the complete trackpad so can any one advise me about the same. A help may be appreciated.

As per my knowledge there is not way that you can only disable the button of then trackpad. The disabling of the trackpad is only thing that you can do but that will disable the complete trackpad and not the button only. So try out the same and if any thing will happen then i will update in this post only. Thats all i can help you.
