    Smart Playlists won't sync correctly

I am using the Apple iPod from very long and everything was working properly till now. Now, I have done an updation of the iTunes to the newest ones and after that I am in an irritating situation, that is the smart Playlists won't sync correctly. The issue is that I am not able to see the playlists in the alphabetical order. They are seen properly, when the iPod is connected to the computer. Another issue is that all the playlists that have been added newly are not able to match any of them on my computer. I am not able to understand why this problem is happening.
Kindly provide all your views and comments on this situation as soon as possible.

Re: Smart Playlists won't sync correctly

    Hello there,
I am coming across this problem of Smart Playlists won't sync correctly for the first time. I think that there are some kind of conflicts between the iPod or the applications of the iPod and the new updates installed. I dont know if there is a method of degrading the same. It will be better if you show the iPod to the authorized service center and they can help you with correct solutions.

There is an option that lets you to set the option that the playlist is music. It can also be set in ZIP. So, there can be problems that the Smart Playlists won't sync correctly, if there are 2 different formats available. The same problem can be causing, that is the computer is not recognizing any of the new playlists. I cannot assure if this will help you to solve this issue, but you can give it a try.

Live updating has to be turned off

Inorder to solve the issue that the Smart Playlists won't sync correctly, the Live updating has to be turned off. This option is available when when you right-click on the playlist. There will be a check box with the above mentioned option. If it has been checked, then simply un-check it. I had the same problem and this particular method helped me to solve the issue.
    Wish you all the best!!!!!!!!!
