Hello. I have a Toshiba Satellite L505-S5990 system. I have installed Windows 7 operating system. The problem is that the camera is not able to function. I do not know what could have been the issue. The problem is basically with the image clarity. It is dark and unclear. I do not know what could have been the issue. Please do help me out. It would be a great help. Thank you.

The issue could well being related to the driver for the device that is been installed. You need to check out for the same. In order to work out for the device you need to check out that he driver that is been installed to the system is proper and do not have any issues related to the same. In order to process or work out for the thing it is necessary that you reinstall the driver

It can be that the contrast or brightness for the same is been kept very low. So in order to make the issue sorted check out the parameters for the same. Increase the levels that may be assigned.

It could be that the driver been installed is not able to work out well. You can process the reinstallation by following the steps as follows:

1. Open the control panel option
2. Now choose the add/remove options
3. Select the desired application that need to be removed
4. Now click on remove button
5. Restart the system
6. Install the new copy

It could be that the driver is not much compatible with the operating system that you use. In order to work out well try to install the drivers under the compatibility mode. This would then help in make the issue to get sorted. Do check out for the same by performing the action that is right click on the installer.exe file and then install in compatibility mode.
