ITunes crashes when iPad tries to Optimize Photos

When I try to sync photos (not the entire presently a number of photos) with my iPad it crashes iTunes. iTunes starts optimizing photos and then it crashes with the first photo. Photos were taken with Sony Cybershot DSC-T100. I am on Windows XP Pro SP 3. A number of photos are extremely well. Additional seem to crash iTunes. But they were taken the entire at the similar time so the photo files be supposed to not be several different. The similar happen on audio.

Has a method been originate to sync photos without them being scaled down, or to alter the size that they are scaled down to. You would actually like to be capable to zoom in on picture or image additional before losing declaration. Positively you could sync the picture or image, and then replace them via SSH with superior versions, but that's not worth anyone's time. Only reinstallation of the app is explanation.

The similar difficulty which you let it do its thing in anticipation of it recovers but then almost immediately as you touch anything (similar to try to play a song), you get the dreaded beach ball again. According to your commotion monitor disk activity you have a group of information being read (50-60MB/sec) and practically none being written (0-100KB). The iTunes in addition seems to be using regarding 20% of the system CPU.

If you had not solved the above problem to solve that problem you have to do the following things, you have to go to the Add/Remove Programs and eliminate Apple Application Support and Quicktime. After that you have to download the Quicktime 7.6.5 merely (non iTunes) and install, then you have to rebooted connecting every step, but not certain if you determine to have to do that or not. After doing this I think you will not get any problem related to that.

After downloading the innovative iTunes update, you will be having the following difficulty. When you select on the Podcasts switch to bring up to date the podcasts downloaded onto your iPod, you get a message that Windows has encountered a trouble and requirements to shut down. You have to re-install QuickTime, but it still shuts down when you have to hit it off on the Podcasts switch. When you updated to iTunes 9, in this you did not get Safari, immediately update the iTunes. Everything else appears to run extremely well.

You are getting a group of crashes / system hangs when iTunes 9.0.1 downloads three podcasts at a instance. It's extremely weird, but dependable. It starts to download three podcasts, and a minute afterward the complete system freezes and you necessitate doing a forced restart. If you pause two of the three, and then download one by one, the whole thing is extremely well. Thus far, iTunes 9 has been a extremely disappointing experience.
