Nokia 6630/6680 is not compatible with RS-MMC

Hello to all,
I have two mobile phone that is Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6680. I am planning to buy new memory card for my mobile phones, but I heard some where that Nokia 6630/6680 is not compatible with RS-MMC. I don't know whether it is right or wrong. If anyone know anything about it, then please help me. Any help will be appreciated.

Hey you are right RS-MMC which is also called as The Reduced Size MultiMedia Card is not compatible with your Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6680. This card is only compatible with Nokia 7610, Nokia 6670 and Nokia 3230. This is because Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6680 only compatible with DV RS-MMC which is also called as Dual Voltage Reduced-Size Multimedia Cards. In this case you have to use Dual Voltage Reduced-Size Multimedia Cards for your mobile phone.

As per my information Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6680 uses DV RS-MMC i.e. Dual Voltage Reduced-Size Multimedia Cards. I heard this from my friend. I think Dual Voltage Reduced-Size Multimedia Cards is a 1.8V card and normal RS-MMC card is the 3.0V card. For this reason DV RS-MMC can work on Nokia 6630/6680 and Nokia 7610/6670/3230 whereas normal RS-MMC only works with Nokia 7610/6670/3230.

I think you are right Nokia 6630/6680 is not compatible with RS-MMC. I don't know why this is happening. It means those mobile supports RS-MMC card can also support DV RS-MMC, but those mobile supports DV RS-MMC does not support RS-MMC like yours. I don't what the reason behind it. If you are looking for DV RS-MMC card then remember that it has highest size of 256 MB.

Hey I don;t know whether it is right or not. It means I don't know whether Nokia 6630/6680 is compatible with RS-MMC or not. In this case you have to use following steps to check this compatibility.
1.Take your mobile phone while buying memory card.
2.Now buy the card and check whether it works on your mobile phone or not.
3.If it works then buy it otherwise try other.

Hey you have to buy Dual Voltage Reduced Size Multimedia Cards for your Nokia 6630/6680 mobile phones.
128 MB is available in the 800 Rs.
256 MB is available in the 1000Rs.
