According to me the hard drive of the laptop is faulty and hence you are not able to boot the laptop. The operating system of the computer is stored on the hard drive of the laptop. If the hard drive of the laptop has got damaged or corrupt then the system will not be able to boot the operating system from the hard drive of the computer. To check the hard drive of the computer, remove the hard drive and connect it to some other computer. See if the hard drive is getting detected. If detected then download the various diagnostic tools and run them on the hard drive. Check for all the errors which are tabulated after tests. If the errors are repairable then repair them using the diagnostic tool. If the errors cannot be repaired then you will have to replace the hard drive of the laptop.

There is a battery on the motherboard of the laptop which is responsible for saving all the settings which are required for the laptop to boot. Open the laptop and locate the battery on the motherboard of the laptop. Remove the battery and check the voltage across the battery. The voltage should be between 2.5volts to 3 volts. If the voltage across the battery is less than 2.5 volts, then the settings required for booting will not be saved and hence the laptop will not boot. Replace the battery of the laptop and then see if the laptop is booting or not.

Usually BSOD indicates that the RAM of the computer is not working or accessible. Sometimes the RAM of the computer get dislocated from their slots and hence will not get detected by the laptop. To check if the RAM is working fine or not, open the laptop and remove the RAM chips from their respective slots. Clean the connecting terminal of the RAM and replace the RAM back in their slots. See if the laptop is booting. If there are multiple chips then try booting the laptop using a single Chip at a time. If for any ram chip, the system does not boot then discard the RAM chip as it may be faulty.

By looking at the problem, I suspect that the motherboard of the laptop is faulty and hence the system is not booting. The motherboard of the computer is responsible for controlling all the functions of the laptop. Also the motherboard of the computer is responsible for providing correct voltage levels to all the devices which are connected to the computer. Therefore if motherboard is faulty the system will not boot at all. Hence get the motherboard of the laptop checked and if the motherboard of the laptop is faulty then get it replaced. Once the motherboard is replaced, you will not face the same problem again.

Most of the laptops face the problem with the residual charge. Residual charge gets stored near the RAM chip. If the residual charge reaches the threshold level then the system will not be able to access the RAM chips. If the system is not able to access RAM chips then it will not be able to boot. You will have to clear the laptop of residual charge to bring it back to working state. To discharge the laptop from the residual charge. Shut down the laptop and disconnect it from the AC source. Remove the battery and press the power button. Keep the power button pressed for about 30 seconds. Replace the battery and see if the laptop is booting.
