    Body of Sony Alpha DSLR-A550.

the Alpha 550 has been made up of duo-tone body which is gunmetal gray top deck and a black rubber and plastic body. It has shiny black strip on the front of the grip which is an accent that also conceals the infrared sensor. Sony Alpha DSLR-A550 has bit odd grip as compared to other ALFAs, It is slim and not enough deep. And i would like to tel you that sloped area between the top and back is making it easier to have vision from more angles.

Exmor sensor and BIONZ processor works together.

Exmor image sensor and BIONZ image processor are both responsible for such features in Sony DSLR A550. Sony Alpha DSLR-A550 generates the great size of images because this camera uses sensor noise reduction at each photocell location and analog-to-digital conversion operated by step noise reduction procedure at a same time. And processing chrominance and luminance noise separately. Which results in to wide sensitivity range for a camera.
