    Use following code , and copy this code into the "desktop .ini file" to set set background image for folders of the USB drive:
    [ExtShellFoldersViews]

    Hi friend,
    Please follow the below instructions to Set background image for folders of the USB drive:

    A. First copy the image which you want set as background for the USB drive.

    B. Then you need to create one .txt file and type below code in it:
    [ExtShellFolderViews]
    {BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-Â3A4-11D0-00C04FD706EC}
    [{BE098140-A513-A3A4-11D0-00C04FD706EC}]
    IconArea_Image=NameOf Image.jpg

    C. The save it & close this txt file.

    D. Finally you need to rename this .txt file as "Desktop.ini"

    You can try this "ini file" code. But make sure that youe have enteres the correct value for the "Name of the Image" as well as the "text color name". I don't think that youe will get any error with this code:
    [.ShellClassInfo]

    IconIndex=127
    IconFile=%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll

    ConfirmFileOp=1

    [{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]
    Attributes=1

    IconArea_Text="0xTextColor" // Put the text color which you want
    IconArea_Image="ImageName.gif/jpg" //Put the image name which you want

    [ExtShellFolderViews]

    {5984FFE0-28D4-11CF-AE66-08002B2E1262}={5984FFE0-28D4-11CF-AE66-08002B2E1262}
    {BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}

    Hi,

    I think you need to first copy the "Desktop.ini" file . Then copy this "Desktop.ini" file into the USB drive. Then open this "Desktop.ini" file, and change the name and the path of the background image.
    Please also make sure that the image which you want to set as background for USB drive folder must be in the USB drive not on the folder of the computer.

    Re: How to Set background image for folders of the USB drive?

    Thanks to all ,

    The above all information was really helpful to solve my query. Now I am able to set background image for folders of the USB drive. I have followed the above steps to make the "ini" file for the USB drive. And made the changes in Image name as well as color value.
    I have another small query, if I want to change the font color for USB drive then in which file I need to make changes?
