Synaptics touchpad of laptop is not properly working

Hi Guys,

I have laptop of the HP company. But It's suffering from the various problems. One of the serious problem is that, It's Synaptics touch is not properly working. The actually issue is that "Right click" of the my laptop's touch pad is not functioning properly.

Because of this I am getting various difficulties while handling my laptop.
Please help me to sort out this problem of the touch pad.

Why don't you try below instructions to solve Synaptics touchpad problem of your laptop?

1. Select the "Mouse setting" from the control panel.

2. Choose the Device Setting option.

3.Then select the setting option of the touch pad.

4. And finally click on the button known as "Enable Click".

I had similar issue with my laptop. But only difference is that I have problem with "Left click" and you have problem with "Right click"

To overcome this problem my friend told on trick to swap the functioning of the buttons of the Synaptics touchpad. I did this process and then I rebooted my laptop for at least three time. And then again swap the functioning of the buttons. Finally the result of this is that both "Right click" as well as "Left click" is working properly.

1. I suggest you to uninstall the the drivers of the Synaptics touchpad, and then reinstall the driver again. This might help you to solve problem of the touch pad.

2. For your kind information under the control panel within mouse option, there is two type of devices i.e touch pad and another is touch styk and the .

3. The option of the touchpad is useful to control the behavior of the bottom button While touch styk is useful to control the behavior of the top button
