Transferring messages from nokia 5300 to 5800

Hi. I have purchased a new Nokia 5800 music xpress phone. I used to use Nokia 5300 before and the thing is that i have lot of messages stored in my inbox. I need to transfer all the messages to my new phone as they all are very important for me. Is there any possibility that I can transfer them to other phone using pc suite application or utility disc? Please suggest. Thank you.

You want to transfer the messages from your Nokia 5300 to 5800 phone but to tell you that it is not possible to transfer them it it is into your phone memory. Now it is quite obvious that you can remove your phone memory and insert it into your new phone. But it can be possible if you can transfer the messages from your phone to the memory card. You can then save the content by passing or storing them into your new phone. Good luck.

There can be an alternative for transferring the messages. You can save your messages to your memory card if it has the option. For this you need to select the memory storage device as memory card. Well the other option is by bluetooth device. You can copy the messages as notepad file and then transfer it to your new phone via bluetooth device. You can do it by following this steps.

1) Open the message which you want to copy.
2) Go to option menu shown on the left hand side bottom corner of your phone.
3) Select the copy all option.
4) Close the menu and then go to organizers option in the main menu.
5) Go to note and then click on make a new note.
6) Paste the content by going to option tab again. Save the file.
7) Send this file via bluetooth device.

Hence you can recover your messages from your old phone to the new.

You can use the Nokia pc suite application for transferring the messages. You need to install the pc suite application to your system. After that connect your phone and then open the application. Click on the option get connected from the pc suite application window. after this you can explore your phone memory from this application. Open the C drive and then synchronize your memory. You can create a backup of your messages or any data contained in the phone memory.
