Folders show weird sign on my Sandisk 32gb pen drive

Hi. I have purchased a Sandisk 32GB pendrive. Well I have noticed that when i transfer some files or folders to my drive it gets copied but I am unable to access it on other system. When i tried to check out it shows some folder with a weird sign or symbol. What is it? Can you help me out? Thank you.

Well you need to check out your pendrive. It might be affected with some some virus. There might be some folder or file containing virus in your Pendrive due to which you are not able to access data properly. The weird sign or symbol you see is probably due this reason.

The virus can be a issue for the problem you are facing to access your files to the system. You need to check out if the pendrive contains some hidden folders in it. Go to Start> Control panel> Folder options> View> Click on Show hidden files and folders. After this open the drive. You will be able to see the hidden folder contained in it exists.

There might be two reasons for the problem. Either your pendrive is not proper. It has been damaged or it is been affected by a strong virus which your antivirus is unable to detect. The reason your antivirus is unable to detect could be it is not updated. Update your antivirus and scan it thoroughly. Your problem might be solved.
