Turn off mobile network on HTC magic

Hello Friends,

I'm having a HTC magic phone. would like to know that how do i turn off mobile network on HTC magic phone? Any one knows about it? Please provide me the correct way for turning off mobile network on HTC magic phone. Any kind of information on the above issue would be greatly appreciated.

There is no hardware switch to turn the Wi-Fi radio on and off. You do that from a Wireless controls sub-menu of the main Android Settings menu—where you can also select the network, input WPA password, etc. I'm having the same problem, despite how many times i check the setting, 'automatically select preferred 3G network' it doesn't seem to scan for it and connect automatically when i'm out of my home wifi range.

HTC Magic is been loaded with custom firmware and TD-SCDMA capabilities. Obviously, you need to turn your phone off, swap the SIMs and then power on. Once powered up, make sure the Wi-Fi is disabled as this appears to hinder the phone making a network connection to the telco.

For doing so, you need to to turn off the function of "always on", which you can get it in the connection settings. You would be able to turn off your mobile network on HTC magic with the help of your internet connection.
