iphone white screen

I'm using an iphone smart phone. Currently i'm facing a strange issue on my iphone screen. My iphone is working but every now and then especially in sleep mode, the screen becomes white. I can hear the ring tone but I can’t see anything on the iphone screen. Can any one tell me that why does my iphone screen becomes white? Any one has any idea about it? Please help me to resolve the above iphone screen issue.

Many people are complaining that their iPhone is experiencing a faint grid on their screen. Press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button and Home button simultaneously for a least 10 seconds. The screen will clear out and then the Apple Logo will appear on the black background. When the logo appears it means that the reset is done.

First off, is the screen of your iPod or iPhone cracked? If you hit this problem it does not mean your iPhone is "bricked". You can resolve it by performing a complete restore on the iPhone. You need to either have Apple replace the device or send it out to a repair specialist. If the screen was cracked when you first took it out of the box, then you can get a warranty replacement. But be advised, accidental/physical damage is not covered under warranty by Apple.

Some parts of a few iPhone screens reportedly lost their touch sensibility, which makes the phone pretty much unusable.
