Go to the "Settings" on the page of twitter site. Select the "Phone & IM" link on this page. On that page enter cell phone number and area code in text box then click save button. You can also receive your updates via SMS on your cell phone. You can receive update from twitter by selecting check boxWait for Twitter to send you a text message.

- Click the update button
