ipod touch remote not working with ca firewall

I am using remote software to control ipod from my computer it works fine, it allows to access and edit application but after it stop working after activating ca firewall. Can any one tell me why ipod touch remote not working with ca firewall?

Remote is an application that turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a remote control. iTunes must be allowed through any software (or hardware) firewall that you may be using. If ipod touch remote not working with ca firewall then download and install the latest update ca firewall.

If ipod touch remote not working with ca firewall then try to disable ca firewall by Right click My Computer, select Manage > Click on services and applications, click on services > Scroll to Windows Firewall and Double-click it > Change the start up type to Disabled.

Try to update Remote to 1.1 if it didn't solve the problem create a new rule in your firewall that specifically allows incoming connections to iTunes. Save those settings and try using Remote to connect to iTunes again.
