I apologize in advance as I'm not sure this has been discussed before. I just got an unlocked V3 which I am using on a T-Mobile network. There is a message there to get, but we keep getting the message "invalid security code". How do I Reset Voicemail Password on a Motorola Razr?

Voicemail does't have any Password, its a security code. It is a code that you completed when you first used the service from. As you cannot remember what could be, contact your network service provider, and they must be allowed to either change it for you, like to remind you what it is or reset it for you. The security code is a 6 digit code which is set to "000000" when the phone is first sent to you.

Try *1234* or just 1234 That is usually the preset. If this doesn't work put the * in front of and behind the last four digits of your number.

To Reset Voicemail on a Motorola Razr, go to your message (Message center) and hit the menu key and go to "from setup" and ensure that your from number is + 18056377243 and the notification is being imposed on. If you are still receive the odd characters, then ask T-Mobile to reset your from all together and see whether it is working.
