Can anyone help? My wife bought an Olympus DS-40 voice recorder. She also has "Dragon" which makes spoken words from a scanned document. Our problem is, we cannot find out how to make a saved audio file load onto the DS-40 handset, so it can be listened to whilst - say - sitting in the park. The array of windows that we have looked as is totally baffling, and the instruction manual must have been written for astronauts! We are pensioners, and do not understand any computer jargon, or technical terms. We can follow plain English instructions, like: "Connect the jack-plug to the computer", but cannot understand things like; "Interface the connectivity BS350 from the audio-imput via a shared file setting....." or whatever. Can anyone tell us, in plain English, simply how to get a Microsoft Word (in Vista) file to go through Dragon into an audio file and then transfer this to the DS-40 player? We would be eternally grateful. Thanks, Pete.
