Podcast error 3253 itunes

Hi,

I have just downloaded i-tunes and attempted to download podcast, but When I log on to iTunes to buy music I get the -3253 error message after I hit the buy music button and enter my password. I have tried downloading but it appears to proceed for some time it eventually end up with the message stopped (=error-3523). I am sure there should be a simple solution, but I can not figure it out. Please help.

The Windows Error 3253 may occur when a computer user is trying to download music files from the iTunes website. It says that there was a problem due to security or authentication. did you check to see if you put in the right user name and password. what you can do is that clear temporary files, perform the Run Diagnostics in iTunes, try to uninstall and reinstall iTunes, or turn off Internet security, Web accelerators and firewalls.

You may get such error, but what you can do is disable your anti virus and firewall. i know its not the right solution as it reduces the security, however it will work around. do it at your own risk, if you dont want to get such errors.

Thanks for the help hatred. what you suggest is too risky for me to do. what i will do is i will download the latest Itunes software and then will try to download the songs from Itune store.
