Buying Any grey market product is risky, you will not gonna get any warranty with the product you buy, you will also not gonna get all accessories which you get if you buy the product from authorized dealer. plus there is also not guarantee of originality of the product. for eg if the Orignal camera is 10 megapixel then you may get the same camera from grey market but it will be 6 or 7 megapixel camera. you can also get duplicate battery.

Say NO to grey market product. From what I understand, grey market usually means a lower price, but no USA warranty.Basically Grey market cameras are sold at too good to be true prices. They rarely include more than the body (IE: no cables, no battery, no charger) and never include a Manufacter's warranty.

Grey Market products cameras are cheap but not durable. you may get duplicate camera, so its a complete waste of money because duplicate manufacturer never have any service center. however some sellers of grey market cameras provide their own warranty in lieu of the manufacturer's US warranty. (B&H Photo is one example.) So the choice of retailer you purchase a grey market camera from is equally important.
