How to connect Palm Pre to Wi-Fi Network

My family has gifted me a Palm Pre mobile last week. Its really a cool device but as i am new to this device, not much familiar to its function. I am trying to find out the way of connecting my palm pre device to Wi-Fi network but failed. Could you guys make me know how to do the same ? Please..

Well, i dint used Palm Pre but while searching the solution on net, fortunately i got it. So to connect your Palm pre to wi fi network, Go to Wi Fi section and turn it on.

Now enter the username and password to the assigned field and click on sign in or on the option join network.

Now click on the security field and click on any of the preferred network type. The options you'll get are:-

• WPA-personal
• WEP
• Enterprise.

Now click on Connect and you are done. !!

It is better to connect Wi Fi on Palm pre smartphones rather than 3G. Wi Fi is much faster than 3g which enables you to switch your Pre over to that and surf or do data-intensive "stuff" faster. Above steps is much simpler to connect to the wi fi but in case you find any difficulties make sure you have a Data package.
