    Logitech Flight System G940

Logitech advantage of E3 to launch a new joystick with force feedback for flight simulators. Flight System G940 from the range of gaming peripherals G-Series, including keyboard and mouse, includes "authentic joysticks" whose design is inspired by aircraft and civil helicopters and military. "

The G940 is composed of a handle to force feedback, a throttle and a rudder. They have over 250 programmable buttons integrated into a design HOTAS (hands on throttle and stick) that provides access to all functions without letting go of the controls. The three elements have mounting points that allow them to fix the work surface.

The joystick has a metal trigger two-tiered, six programmable buttons, mini-stick and three orders of analog compensator. The throttle is in turn divided to manage multi-engine aircraft, a push button to lock all in a single-engine aircraft. It found eight programmable buttons, two buttons four handles and two programmable analog rotary. Finally, the rudder, with a non-slip coating and bead-based, in turn allows access to controls steering and braking.

Compatible with most flight simulators for the PC, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator X, IL-2 Sturmovik and Lock On: Modern Air Combat, the Flight System joystick Logitech G940 should be marketed in Europe in September at the retail price of 300 euros.

    Re: Logitech Flight System G940

    Realism

Authentic design: Every piece of Logitech® Flight System G940 is carefully crafted with realism in mind. We looked to military and commercial planes and helicopters for inspiration. You get an experience that’s more realistic and more fun, with important controls that look, feel, and work just like the real thing.

    Control

Force feedback joystick: Control your aircraft with confidence. Force feedback effects allow you to feel its movement as well as its reaction to wind shear, buffeting, turbulence, and g-forces.
Dual throttle: Precisely control multi-engine aircraft using the two 8-way hat switches. Or lock the levers when you need to operate your engines in sync.
Rudder pedals with toe brakes: Enjoy true-to-life rudder control, essential when you’re performing defensive maneuvers and crosswind landings, or piloting helicopters.
Interactive, programmable throttle-base buttons: Keep in control with buttons that illuminate red, green, amber, or off to indicate the status of critical aircraft systems—gear up, flaps down, and many others—just like they would in a real cockpit.

    Durability

Hard points: All three components (joystick, throttle, and pedals) can be bolted to a table or other surface for a solid experience.

    Compatibility

Game support: Works with PC flight simulators including Microsoft® Flight Simulator X, IL-2 Sturmovik™: 1946, Falcon: Allied Force, Lock On: Modern Air Combat X-Plane 9, Enemy Engaged 2, and DCS: Black Shark
