Logitech advantage of E3 to launch a new joystick with force feedback for flight simulators. Flight System G940 from the range of gaming peripherals G-Series, including keyboard and mouse, includes "authentic joysticks" whose design is inspired by aircraft and civil helicopters and military. "
The G940 is composed of a handle to force feedback, a throttle and a rudder. They have over 250 programmable buttons integrated into a design HOTAS (hands on throttle and stick) that provides access to all functions without letting go of the controls. The three elements have mounting points that allow them to fix the work surface.
The joystick has a metal trigger two-tiered, six programmable buttons, mini-stick and three orders of analog compensator. The throttle is in turn divided to manage multi-engine aircraft, a push button to lock all in a single-engine aircraft. It found eight programmable buttons, two buttons four handles and two programmable analog rotary. Finally, the rudder, with a non-slip coating and bead-based, in turn allows access to controls steering and braking.
Compatible with most flight simulators for the PC, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator X, IL-2 Sturmovik and Lock On: Modern Air Combat, the Flight System joystick Logitech G940 should be marketed in Europe in September at the retail price of 300 euros.
