Red Dot problem on Toshiba

I have a Plasma TV from Toshiba and all of a sudden, a red dot appears right at the center of the screen. Can anyone explain me about the problem and how do I get rid out of this annoying red dot from the screen.....

The red dot that appears on your Plasma screen seems to be a Dead Pixel which is stuck on that particular location. Well, I dont have any idea about how would you remove this, but the best I can suggest you is to call a technical person from the company to solve it internally...

I am also having a similar problem.....There are around 4-5 red dots on the upper left of the screen which seems like a red snow. This is really annoying and distracting since I cannot ignore as these red dots are forced to view becoz of their high intensity.....
