AVCHD video editing on Imac or Mac Pro ?

Which is better for AVCHD video editing ? Imac or Mac Pro ? video watching/editing experience any better? , If some have any experience then please share with me.

For you best way is to check Apple's website as to whether your camera is supported or not. And about the application for which you want to go , depends on how much editing you want to do. Imovie can handle light editing and comes with the machine. Here again the question is can your current machine be upgraded to handle editing at high resolutions ?

AVCHD is supported in the new iLife and Pro apps. It will do all you need. For more detailes of specifications go to Apple's website and in the MBP page choose the specifications tab.

The expressCard slot in MacBook Pro gives more flexibility than the iMac, though I like the iMacs but the MacBook Pros can do a real nice job.
