Hercules launches today as part of a mini MedPi USB WiFi N. Called HWUm-300, it would be "the smallest USB adapter 802.11n WiFi certified soon. Measuring only 3.5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide and 0.5 cm thick, it should not exceed the computer than 2.2 cm. Its ultra-slim design makes it possible to allow access to the USB port below or above.
Despite its small size, it includes 3 antennas (1 transmit, 2 receive), which guarantees from the manufacturer "of rates up to 300 Mbps. It is of course compatible with the WiFi G, still widespread. It also integrates Wi-Fi Protected Setup, which allows you to connect to an access point with a single press of a button. The software supplied allows to manage the transfer priorities to focus eg distribution of multimedia streaming.
This mini USB WiFi N Hercules will be marketed to the end of May to the retail price of 1800 INR.
