HP dv5 pavillion screen goes black

Since from last week I observed that my HP dv5 Pavillion laptop screen goes black and it happens randomly it was working fine earlier but black screen problem arises suddenly and had no clue how this has happened, i am having this laptop since last 6 months and i faced lot of issues in that, as i solved one problem laptop works fine for 3-4 days and comes up with another problem, i have done formatting so many time. Now this time am facing this issue.Please help..

I think you need to check both battery power and on the AC adapter, this suggestion i have given you from an experience as you said that you are using your laptop from last six months, so because of continue use also it battery life may go down and that you need to give attention.

Sounds like a software issue with the power settings for the screen. Go into the display properties, open the tab that reads screen saver, click on the power button. Adjust the screen setting to never. You can test your power settings to see which one is causing this. Try setting all of them to off except Turn off monitor and set that to one minute. This should take care of your problem, if it doesn't then it may be a loose connection on or around the screen. check the connections.

I also heard that HP product has these kind of problem, they mostly creates black screen error problem, and even this had also happen that when we send the laptop to eliminate this problem to their respective showroom their representative also not able to solve that issue, for the time being just go through this forum discusstion.
