    BenQ Upgrades the popular C Series Camera Lineup with two models

    BenQ unveils two upgrades of its popular C series digital camera lineup with the launch of the 10 Megapixel DC C1020 and the 12 Megapixel DC C1220. Both cameras feature a classic and compact design, 3x optical zoom, Super-Shake-Free mode with high-ISO supported, Smile Catch mode and video recording with optical zoom.

    C1220 - High resolution in a compact housing

    The BenQ C1220 offers a resolution of 12 megapixels and an image sensor of 1/2.3 inch CCD, delivering stunningly accurate photos in high quality and with extremely low image noise.



    The 3x optical zoom enables the user to capture many details. A movie resolution of 16:9 (720x400) with 30 frames per second and up to 3200 ISO sensitivity allow you to record video files in fantastic quality with high brightness even without illumination.

    Versatility and performance with BenQ C1020
    The new BenQ C1020 offers a 2.5” LCD (6.3 cm diagonal), 3x optical zoom and up to 5x digital zoom. The CCD image sensor of 1/2.3 inch and 10 Megapixel resolution ensure clear images; the video mode 16:9 (720x400) compliments the list of convenient features.

    The USB 2.0 interface and compatibility with any printer, thanks to PictBridge, make the C1020 even more versatile. Six preset modes also ensure optimal usability, eliminating the need for manual settings.



    The C1020 weighs just 130g. It has a 15MB internal memory with the option of expanding by up to 16GB using an SD card.

    Blink detector alerts you when a subject has blinked, allowing the shot to be retaken immediately or saved according to your preference.

    Smart Scene Detection
    Automatically detects 5 different types of scenes and chooses the appropriate camera settings: Night scene, Landscape, Normal & Macro, Portrait and Backlight Portrait. All you have to do is to press the shutter and the Smart Scene Detection mode will do the rest for you.

    Smart Focus
    With Smart Focus, it will auto scan and switch to macro mode when you are taking close-up photos of flowers or small objects. So, every photos are in focus.
