Acer Aspire 6920 G Touch pad problem

    Hi,

I have a new laptop Acer Aspire 6920 G laptop, with Vista Home Premium. The touch pad not the mouse but the one where your music and volume controls them does not , the lights, only when I have to pressure test it is not. The machine boots fine, but does not recognise the keyboard, touchpad, and now has no sound drivers or options.

    please help

Turn off your Acer Aspire 8920, take out the battery, put the battery back in, turn it on. Search in Help and Support for "driver". install the latest the drivers for the touchpad and maybe the keyboard get them from the Acer website

If your laptop Acer Aspire 6920 is under warranty then you should take it directly to the store, because it is impossible for you to use your laptop without touchpad or keyboard -are you using external keyboard and mouse.

If you have installed Windows Vista in your laptop, then run Windows Update. It will find almost any type of sound drivers for your laptop.

If you have installed Windows XP in your laptop, then try to use Windows Update to -
    - find new drivers for laptop, or
    - find if there is any problems with your sound drivers / sound card.

hi i had the same problem with the media touch pad i found a 100% fix
    1 turn your computer off

    2 remove charger and battery

3 leave battery out and attach charger

4 hold power button for 10 seconds

5 re-attach battery and power up

now all should be working fine hope this helps
