    ASUS N51Vf X1 NoteBook

ASUS has switched to using LED backlight that provides a better overall experience than traditional CCFL backlights. ASUS N51Vf-X1 has a 15.6 inch screen notebook with its bright screen that is gonna attract people. It comes with Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 processor at 2.40GHz, 4GB of DDR2 memory, a 320GB hard drive, the NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M 1GB graphics, a DVD burner, and Windows Vista Home Premium OS.

The notebook has a good DirectX 10 compatible dedicated video card, so it can be used for gaming. The NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M is a new generation graphics processor that can handle most of today's games just fine at the panel's resolution. The 1GB of video memory is a bit overkill as it doesn't really help it handle filtering any better than if it has 512MB memory. The 15.6-inch LCD panel uses the 16:9 aspect ration with a 1366x768 resolution more typical of a 720p HDTV screen. What really makes this screen is the LED backlighting that provides a bright and colorful display.

    Re: ASUS N51Vf X1 NoteBook

ASUS N51Vf X1 is small enough to be portable, yet powerful enough to function as a full-out desktop replacement.Unlike many systems that are using the 5400rpm drives, this one uses the faster 7200rpm spin rate for improved performance. The higher spin rate does take a bit more energy and thus impacts battery life somewhat.
