    Kobian, the Singapore based manufacturer of Mercury Motherboards, Chassis and PC Components, unveiled their latest Mercury webcam Series. The current range is christened as Mercury ViewCam. The series offers a range from 1.3MP to 10MP priced between Rs 450 to Rs 5,500.


    Based on CMOS technology along with real optics and auto focus features, the Mercury Webcam delivers ideal image clarity and a smooth, full motion 30fps digital video stream with High Speed USB throughput.

    Mercury WebCam allows a 360degree rotation and manual lens setting for ideal adjustment for the ease of the user. Powered with Digital Zoom, Built-in Mic, 3D Audio, Night Vision and Pan Tilt Function – Mercury Webcams offer a complete experience to the user. It also features a Multi-Attach base with a rubber grip, designed to fit easily and securely onto almost anything - notebook displays, CRT monitors or LCD flat panel displays. Or, simply let it rest comfortably on a table or other flat surfaces.

Mercury ViewCam aims to let you get in touch with your friends and family easily via popular instant messaging (IM) software such as MSN Windows Live!™ Messenger, Yahoo! Instant Messenger and Skype™. The product is designed with features like Built-In Mic, Snap shot button, Night Vision, Intelligent face tracking etc. We shall be launching newer models with unique IDs in wide array of colours.” said Ms. Sushmita Das , Country Manager - India, Kobian Pte Ltd.

    The product is currently been distributed by Kobian’s National Distributor, Inspan Infotech, and shall be serviced for One-year warranty period by Kaizen Infoserve across country.

    These webcams allow a 360degree rotation and manual lens setting, are powered with digital zoom, built-in mic, 3D Audio, Night Vision and Pan Tilt Function. They also feature a Multi-Attach base with a rubber grip which can fit onto almost anything - notebook displays, CRT monitors or LCD flat panel displays.

    The Mercury webcams from Kobian are being distributed by Inspan Infotech, the company's national distributor. The products come with a one year warranty period and servicing offered across teh country by Kaizen Infoserve.

    The Mercury ViewCam webcams are available to customers fro a price ranging between Rs. 450/- to Rs. 5,500/-
