Nokia PC suite "cannot authenticate the phone"

    Hi,

I have been a few weeks is no longer the possibility of my N95 with my T61 (Lenovo) to synchronize.

It was ever all that I can not even explain why it is no longer on a declined.

When I try using the mobile phone in the Nokia PC Suite to connect, then I get the message "phone can not be authenticated."

If I were still trying to connect my N95, then I get back "telephone can not be authenticated."

    What is the problem?
    Can someone help me?
Are there any PC Suite from a log file?

    Hi,

Downloading the belkin drivers for my USB belkin bluetooth ...

After installing the drivers, you will find that the microsoft stack is still hogging the actual bluetooth device plugged into your USB port...

You can change to the widcom driver (or the proper driver that came with your device by:

    1. Right click "my computer" - select properties
    2. Select the "Hardware" tab
    3. Click the "Device Manager" button
    4. Expand the Bluetooth section, and right click your actual bluetooth device (Blutonium, or whatever chipset is in your bluetooth device - NOT the enumerator)
    5. Select "Update Driver"
    6. Choose "No, not this time" and hit Next
    7. Choose "install from a list or specific location"
    8. Click "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install"
    9. If you have installed your drivers for you device, then you should see it in the list of compatible devices now being displayed. Select it, and click Next.
    10. The system will install the driver.
    11. Click Finish....

    Done!
You have now changed the Bluetooth driver stack to your proprietory one (probably the widcom set).

You only need to enable to the serial port service functionality on the setup wizard for your own computer.

After I did the above, PCSuite should discover and connect reliably....
